This Privacy Policy describes how AutomatesTime, a trade name of ADCENDANT LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit automatestime.com, use any of our subscription software products, or engage us for professional services. We are based in the United States, and our services are intended for U.S. residents.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

Contact form submissions: name, email address, phone number, business name, message contents.
Account registration (subscription products): name, email address, password (stored hashed), payment method (handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).
Professional services engagements: business name, billing address, EIN or tax identification number, signed agreements, project deliverables and feedback exchanged during the engagement.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Usage data: pages visited, time spent, links clicked, browser type, device type, IP address (anonymized after 30 days), referrer URL.
Cookies and similar technologies: session cookies for login state; analytics cookies for aggregate site usage. See Section 5 for details and how to opt out.

1.3 Information from third parties

Payment processors (Stripe): transaction confirmations, last four digits of cards used, billing zip codes for fraud screening. We do not receive full card numbers.
Analytics providers (Google Analytics, if enabled): aggregated, non-personally-identifiable usage statistics.
Customer relationship management (GoHighLevel): for clients of our professional services, communication history and pipeline status as managed within our CRM.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers. We do not use personal information for purposes unrelated to those listed above.

3. Who we share information with

We share information only with the following categories of recipients, and only as needed for the purposes above:

Service providers: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting), GoHighLevel (CRM and marketing automation for client engagements), Google Workspace (email), and similar infrastructure providers. Each of these has its own privacy policy and is contractually bound to protect data shared with them.
Professional advisors: our accountants, attorneys, and insurers, only as needed for the legitimate operation of the business.
Legal authorities: in response to valid subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process; or to investigate fraud or protect our rights.
Business transfers: if ADCENDANT LLC is acquired or merges with another entity, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify users of any such change with at least 30 days' notice before the transfer.

4. Your rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights:

Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
Correction: request that we correct inaccurate information.
Deletion: request that we delete personal information, subject to legal retention obligations (we may need to retain tax records, signed contracts, and similar for a period required by law).
Opt-out of marketing emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us directly.
Opt-out of "sale" of personal information: we do not sell personal information. If we ever begin to, you will be notified and given the opportunity to opt out.

California residents have specific rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete, the right to opt out of sale, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. California residents may exercise these rights by contacting support@automatestime.com.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@automatestime.com with your full name and the email address associated with your account. We will respond within 30 calendar days.

5. Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, to understand how it is used, and to improve it over time.

Most browsers allow you to disable cookies through the browser's settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may impair site functionality.

6. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law:

Contact form submissions: 24 months from submission, then deleted.
Account information (subscription products): until the account is closed, then 90 days for billing reconciliation, then deleted.
Professional services engagement records: 7 years after engagement end, for tax and contract compliance.
Analytics data: aggregated and anonymized after 30 days; identifying data not retained beyond that point.

7. Security

We protect personal information with industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where supported by our service providers, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable state law.

8. Children's privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us at support@automatestime.com and we will delete it within 30 days.

For our education-sector software builds (such as interactive curriculum platforms delivered to schools), we collect no personally identifiable information from students. Modules are open-source, anonymous, and aggregate-usage-only.

9. International users

Our services are intended for use in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. By using our services from outside the United States, you consent to this transfer.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will send an email notice to users with active accounts.
